1. The Service

FoodScan helps you scan a photo of a dish and provides recipe suggestions. Recipe results are generated automatically and may be approximate. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes.

2. Eligibility

You must comply with applicable laws and be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

3. User Content

You may upload photos and submit text prompts (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

4. Prohibited Use

• Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

The Service may offer subscriptions or in-app purchases. Pricing, duration, and features are shown in the App at purchase time. Payments are handled by Apple. Subscription management (including cancellations) is done in your Apple ID account settings.

6. Disclaimers

No medical advice. The Service does not provide medical, dietary, or allergy advice. Always verify ingredients and suitability for your dietary needs, allergies, and health conditions.

No warranty. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision.
